A ghost hunt for the faint hearted this is not! Situated on the beautiful Morecambe promenade and with a history spanning over 100 years this old theatre has a wealth of areas that are just asking to be investigated! Activity is rife throughout the many areas of this building. Starting life in the 1870’s Morecambe Winter Gardens has seen various changes in both name and purpose over the years – previously a public swimming baths (the remnants of which lie in the pitch black of the basement area).
Ruthin Gaol
Ghost hunts are a must. Paranormal activity has sent shivers through many ghost hunters throughout these scarily cold nights in what once was a prison. It has been on the site of Ruthin Gaol in one form since the 17th century and prior to becoming the County Gaol it was used as a ‘holding area’ for those unfortunate to have committed crimes that warranted severe punishment. In 1866 the Gaol became a four storey Pentonville style building – helping to fit even more troubled men, women and children within its walls.
