Hi im Jen, Ive been attending ghost hunts for about 18 months and became hooked from day one. I never thought communicating with spirits could be so much fun.
Ive been to many venues and seen and heard many unexplainable things. Unbeleivably i am scared of the dark however from my experiences its not the dark i am now afraid of! I started out as a sceptic however now im not so sure too many coincidences in my book but have a go and you make your own judgment.
My first experience of ghost hunting was through a charity night at Ruthin Gaol, I almost chickened out at the last minute, but somehow found the courage to go ahead with it, I am so glad I did, I had no idea it could be this addictive!!!
My favourite location has to be Ruthin Gaol but i have never been disappointed wherever our ghost hunts have been.My favourite way of communicating with spirits has definately got to be through the glass, however I do love using the rods as this is a personal way of communicating.
I have now been to many venues and experienced many things with the spirits around us, some good things, some bad.But nothing in which I regret or wouldnt do again, even though I have been scared to my wits end!!!I would definately say that the more events I do and the more experiences I have, the more sensitive I'm becoming to the spirits around me. I can often tell their names and know dates, even down to why they are in the building sometimes, This I just love when the spirit responds and I have been right!!!!
Im really excited about many of our venues especially Tatton Old Hall in which I have heard so much about and Bolling which I think is going to be amazing.
Cant wait to meet you, can you explain the unexplainable?????

Hi my name is Steph and I am from Liverpool. I have been hooked on anything Paranormal since I was little. I have been going on Ghost Hunts for the last 2-3 years and have been to most of the locations on my ‘hit list’ but I keep adding to it!! I also had my hen night as a Halloween overnight event at The Golden Fleece in York.
I studied Parapsychology at University and loved it! Found lots of useful techniques and I was lucky enough to have a fantastic (and published!) Parapsychologist as my personal tutor.
The more venues I have been to the more I am becoming aware of Spirit around me – quite often; as is the case with lots of guests – names will pop into your head for no reason – its when the names are confirmed by the location staff that it feels a bit strange! But that is all part of the night for me!
I am normally quite brave in the dark but I had one evening that was super scary last Halloween when a particularly unpleasant individual focused on me for almost all of the evening, making me feel extreme panic and nausea (oh and he didn’t want me to sit down either!) but I braved it out (just about) and live to hunt another day!!
My ultimate ghost hunt would probably be at Alcatraz. I would love to spend the night locked in there!!
More locally; I have a large soft spot for the beautiful Morecambe Winter Gardens. The sheer size of the place makes for a very interesting venue but more than that each time I have visited I seem to encounter a different atmosphere and activity. I am also really excited about being in Tatton Old Hall for Halloween this year - this is a fantastic venue and I cant wait to get back there!

Hi my name is Paula and I live in Runcorn. I have been investigating the Paranormal for over three years and have been on lots of events. My first event was at Walton Hall in Warrington where we had some amazing activity and ever since then I have been totally hooked.
I became Crew and then Lead Crew for the company I went on my first event with. My favourite locations at the moment are Morecambe Winter Gardens and the Heritage Centre in Liverpool.
As I am quite sceptical I love using the equipment such as EMF meters, thermometer and Dictaphone to record EVP. It is amazing when you get movement on the glass/planchette and the EMF meters are also responding at the same time and the temperature in the room drops.
My scariest experience was probably at the Heritage Centre when the EMF meter was going off and I could literally feel and see a black mass right next to me. It took all my strength not to run out of the building lol! If there was one place I could investigate it would be the Capuchin Catacombs in Italy or closer to home it would be full access to The Tower of London.
Apart from the excitement of going on Paranormal Events when its all going off, I love meeting people with the same interest from all walks of life and generally just having a really good night.
