What Happens on a Ghostly Shadows Event?

When you arrive at your Haunted venue you will be met by some of our Ghostly Shadows team; all crew will be easily recognizable as they will be wearing Ghostly Shadows uniform.

Once everyone has arrived; your team for the night will introduce themselves and to your medium for the evening.

Following this, and on all Ghostly Shadows events, we have a brief talk on health and safety; although we know you will be keen to get started this is an important part of the evening.

At the start of the night you will be made aware of the 'Base Room' for the evening. This is the place where refreshments will be served; we offer a selection of hot drinks and snacks - but please feel free to bring additional food if you would like a full midnight feast!

The team will then take you on a tour of the building (with the lights on) so you can get your bearings (for when we turn the lights off!)

Once back in the base room your Crew will split all the guests up into small groups. We will make every effort to try to keep you with the people you booked the event with - if you have all booked separately; please either This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it us prior to the event or let our team know on your arrival on the night.

Each group will always have a member of Ghostly Shadows Team with them. The team will try to make sure that everyone at the event has a chance to use the equipment available and try an investigation in each area we have access to investigate.  Ghostly Shadows will try to tailor the evening to your interests as much as possible.

If you would like some time to carry out your own investigations at the venue this can also be arranged and we welcome guests bringing along their own pieces of equipment - cameras/camcorders/dicta-phones etc are all welcome. We will only ask you to refrain from use of your equipment if the venue management have asked us to enforce some constraints in this area.

You will spend most of the evening in complete darkness so we ask all guests to bring along a torch.
